Class of 2024 Guided Through Assessing, Navigating Current Climate of Jewish Life on College Campuses

As our high school students navigate what has become an even more complex decision regarding colleges and universities, GOA is fortunate to have expert college counselor Dr. Denise Kanrich guiding our families to provide them with individualized support. In this latest Bloomberg article, Dr. Kanrich weighs in on how some college campuses are responding to the Oct. 7 attack:

"Some students have taken a closer look at Dartmouth College in recent months. The school, located in rural New Hampshire, is getting credit among Jewish parents for how it responded to the Hamas attack, including forums that faculty in the school’s Jewish Studies and Middles Eastern Studies programs have been holding to promote dialogue among students, according to Denise Kanrich, director of college counseling at Golda Och Academy in New Jersey. The first one, offered shortly after Oct. 7, was packed and had more than 1,000 people also watching online."
