Welcome Alumni

Rise Up!

We couldn’t ask for a sweeter way to begin the new year than with this inspirational video of our talented alumni singing Andra Day’s Rise Up! The COVID-19 pandemic moved our alumni to come together in song to send a message of hope and unity to our community. Tremendous thanks to Upper School Arts and Experiential Educator Jamie Mittleman for her vision and coordination of this project; Andrew Mittleman, Upper School Multimedia and Experiential Education faculty for video production; and Craig Resmovits, Upper School Choir Director for the musical arrangement.

During these challenging times, our school alumni are a source of tremendous pride and inspiration for our school.
They are involved in so many different activities that model the value of tikkun olam that we hold dear at Schechter/Golda Och Academy. We love hearing personal and professional news from our alumni and staying connected as a close community.
This special GOA bond connects all of us together – alumni, students, faculty, current school parents, alumni parents, grandparents, and friends. We are all grateful for our special kehillah that gives us strength in these times.
