Application Process

Five Simple Steps

  • 1 - Complete the preliminary Online Application

    Our application is available exclusively online, and we are here to assist you in the admissions process from your first visit through the submission of the application. If you need assistance with the application fee ($125) please contact us.
  • 2 - Visit our campus

    Please contact us to schedule an individual tour - it's the best way to get to know GOA!
  • 3 - Submit application components

    Requirements vary by grade and may include prior school records, assessments, letters of recommendation, and a graded writing sample.
  • 4 - Admissions decisions and enrollment

    Once an admissions file is complete, it is reviewed by our Admissions Committee. Depending on your application (priority consideration, general admission) GOA will begin notifying families starting in mid-January and ending in mid-March. We look forward to getting to know you, working with you throughout the process, and helping you make the decision that is best for your family.

Applications received after this date will be considered on a rolling basis

January 20, 2023
Application Components Due
Includes student visit and interview, student essay, school reports with an official transcript, ISEE test scores, and teacher recommendations

February 15, 2023
Decision Letter Release Date
Families will be notified by email with instructions on next steps

March 8, 2023
Family Decision Deadline
Families need to notify Golda Och Academy with their decision

March 26, 2023
Placement Testing
Enrolled students will be invited to take placement exams on this date

September 6, 2023
First Day of School

Helpful Tips

Pre-K candidates must reach their fourth birthday by October 1, 2023

Kindergarten candidates must reach their fifth birthday by October 1, 2023

All candidates must be fully-immunized based on New Jersey State requirements

The Enrollment application is only available online. If you need technical assistance, please contact mschlageter@goldaochacademy.org

The Financial Aid application (if applicable) must be submitted concurrent with the Admission Application due on or before December 16, 2022.

Teacher Recommendations

You can send the form to the teacher from the online application portal by selecting the Send Request button found in your Checklist. Completed forms from the teacher are due back to GOA by January 14, 2022.
