Lunch for Yom Haatzmaut 5/14

In celebration of Yom Hatzmaut on Tuesday, May 14, GOA will be providing a special Israeli lunch for all students and staff on both campuses.

The menu will include:

  • Lunch from Jerusalem Restaurant including falafel (regular and gluten free), pita, hummus, Israeli salad, fruit salad and cookies (regular and gluten-free).

Please note that all items will be prepared sesame-free (including sesame-free falafel and hummus). Please see this UPDATED ingredient list (including specific info about the cookies that will be served). Please be aware of potential cross-contamination. Contact Jerusalem Restaurant in Livingston, which is not a sesame- and/or nut-free facility, with any questions.

Families who would prefer their child not to have the provided lunch, please send in a lunch with them. (We will not have our regular lunch order that day; for families who normally order from Boonli on Tuesdays, your accounts will not be charged.)

Lower School families with food allergy or food concerns: please contact Nurse Roberta at rcoopersmith@goldaochacademy.org and cc your child’s teachers. This must be done by 10 am on Monday, May 13.

Thank you and we look forward to celebrating an amazing Yom Haatzmaut!
