Advancing Teaching Excellence Through Collaborative Learning

Last week, Golda Och Academy launched a yearlong, multi-school professional development cohort as part of the Quest for Teaching Excellence. Facilitated by Rabbi Dr. David Saltzman and Rabbi Dr. Tavi Kaslowe of Kadima Coaching, the program brings together faculty from Golda Och Academy, Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy/Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School, and The Jewish Educational Center/Bruriah.

During the cohort’s first session, educators spent the day exploring strategies for incorporating student-centered learning into their classrooms. Through collaboration, discussion, and shared learning, faculty members began building a foundation for continued professional growth and innovative teaching practices throughout the year.
