Located in West Orange, New Jersey, Golda Och Academy is an accredited private independent school, educating students from Pre-K through 12th grade in a flexible and caring environment that nurtures their minds and their spirits. We ground a dual academic curriculum in the culture and tenets of Conservative Judaism, while welcoming students and families from a range of synagogue affiliations and Jewish expression.

Our school is located on two campuses — one for the Lower School and one for the Upper School — located about two miles apart, just 25 minutes from New York City, serving approximately 450 students from more than 70 communities across New Jersey.

We invite you to explore our website to learn all about us!

Golda Och Academy is a rich learning environment for students grades Pre-K-12. Although our age groups vary, our approach is comprehensive. We base our curriculum on the principles of the Solomon Schechter Day School movement, in which traditional classroom instruction is integrated with Jewish identity and knowledge.

The purpose of the Golda Och Academy athletic program is to offer a rewarding athletic experience and to develop the athletic potential of all our students.

We recognize the distinct differences between Middle School and High School students and the wide range of individual abilities.

Athletes are encouraged to develop a sense of positive sportsmanship, integrity, values, ethics, and derekh eretz and to display these qualities on and off the field.
