Performing Arts

Our performing arts program puts on annual productions, including a High School musical and play, Middle School musical, Choir Benefit Concert, and Arts in Action Night, an evening which celebrates the theatrical season — all performed at fully equipped theater venues in the area.

We have a wide variety of students who act on stage and work backstage: choreography, lighting, set design, hair/make-up, costume design, and stage management — there is a meaningful contribution that every student can make, on or off stage. Recent high school productions have included: In The Heights, The Laramie Project, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Fame, Brighton Beach Memoirs, Children of Eden, Lend Me a Tenor, Once on This Island, and Bye Bye Birdie. The Middle School has recently put on Willy Wonka, Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors, and Seussical.

Our Dance Team is made up of students that choreograph and perform original dance routines. The Dance Team dances to songs in both English and Hebrew, and can often be found performing at community-wide events.
