Seniors Caleb L. and Hannah T. Earn Spot in CIJE Tank, Win Superior Prototype Award for “Wash Pal”
From more than 500 submissions, only 10 teams are selected for CIJE Tank, the Center for Initiatives in Jewish Education - CIJE's Shark Tank-style competition where finalists pitch to a panel of expert judges for a chance at a provisional patent opportunity.
Mazal tov to seniors Caleb L. and Hannah T. who advanced to CIJE Tank this year and won the Superior Prototype Fabrication award with their project Wash Pal, a child-friendly hand-washing device that dispenses the correct amount of soap, lights up, and plays music for the full recommended wash time.
Their work represents the very heart of our STEM program: identifying meaningful problems and building solutions that can make everyday life a little safer, healthier, and better.
