Golda Och Academy Announces David Moss as Chair of the Board of Trustees
Golda Och Academy is proud to announce the appointment of David Moss as Chair of the Board of Trustees, succeeding Steven Klinghoffer, who completed his term in June with deep gratitude from the entire GOA community.
David brings a powerful combination of strategic leadership and deep personal connection to the role. Professionally, he leads Alts Bridge at the Bank of New York Mellon (BNY), where he is spearheading a transformative platform that expands BNY's role in the alternatives and private markets ecosystem. His previous leadership roles include Chief Operating Officer for Global Client Management and Co-Head of Corporate Strategy at BNY, with earlier experience at McKinsey & Co., Citigroup, J.P. Morgan Asset Management, and Bank of America.
David is also a proud GOA parent—his son is entering 7th grade—and a passionate advocate for Jewish education, values, and community.
“Golda Och Academy welcomed our family to Essex County and into its vibrant community. For our son, it’s been a place to create lifelong friendships, set an academic foundation grounded in critical thinking, gain leadership experience and challenge himself, and build a deep connection to Judaism and Israel,” said David. “As we prepare to celebrate GOA’s 60th anniversary, I’m humbled by the incredible opportunity we have to honor our rich history while continuing to recognize and invest in GOA excellence for today and the years ahead.”
David hold a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.S. from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. In addition to his role at GOA, he serves on the Board of Managers for Fairview Lake Camp, remains active with the Kelley School’s finance programs, and is a member of Congregation Agudath Israel.
Please join us in welcoming David to this new leadership role as we look ahead to an extraordinary (60th) year at Golda Och Academy!
