Golda Och Academy Premieres First Names, Not Numbers Holocaust Documentary Film

On Sunday, June 3, 2018, more than 300 GOA family and community members joined together for the first Names, Not Numbers Holocaust documentary film premiere at Temple Beth Shalom. It was an incredible evening honoring the five Holocaust survivors who shared their inspirational stories and taught our students lessons they will take with them throughout their lifetime.  In addition to preserving such an important piece of history, our 20 high school students learned firsthand about the human spirit, the power of faith and the power of love.

Prior to the screening, a private dinner was held for the survivors and their families along with our students and their families. Names, Not Numbers documentaries have been accepted into the archives of the Jewish National and University Library of Israel in Jerusalem and are being archived at Yad Vashem and the Gottesman Library at Yeshiva University.
