    College Essay Workshop for Juniors

    Virtual
It's that time of year again -- time to think about and begin your college essay.

Every student will be asked to submit an essay with their college application, so we strongly encourage all of our juniors to attend this workshop. During this workshop, Denise will discuss the key elements of a college essay, brainstorm potential essay topics, and address how best to respond to supplements and the newly added COVID-19 essay.

    Names, Not Numbers Film Premiere

    Virtual
    A Holocaust Documentary Film Project
Produced by Golda Och Academy 10th-11th grade students

Over the course of the year, our high school students have learned filmmaking, interviewing and editing skills to document the inspiring stories of survivors Dr. Carl Dubovy, Miriam Gershwin, school great-grandparent Gladys Halpern, Dr. Rita Kuhn, and Fran Malkin

In addition to preserving their stories, a professional filmmaker has also documented our students' journey through this process and what it means to be the last generation to hear about the Holocaust firsthand. Please help honor these survivors and support our students on their mission to never forget.
