The mission of the Golda Och Academy Grandparents' Society is to assist the school in fulfilling its mission of providing a quality Jewish and secular education to our students through:
Serving as ambassadors to school grandparents, the school community and the overall Jewish community in promoting and advocating for the importance of day school education and specifically Golda Och Academy.
Bringing together grandparents for social networking, schmoozing and kvelling about their grandchildren and school achievements through Grandparents' Society events and communications.
Providing opportunities for hands-on volunteer help and expertise in areas needed by the school.
Assisting the school in identifying new sources of potential fundraising support and through the adoption of a special grandparents fundraising projects.
Strengthening inter-generational ties through grandparent involvement in school life via participation in Golda Och Academy events at both the individual campuses and institutional levels.
