Head of School Adam Shapiro has been selected as one of 13 day school leaders from around the county to form the new Jewish School Leadership Enterprise. The group will be spearheading a new way to look at and conduct leadership recruitment, training, and ongoing support, with the goal of attracting and retaining more people with leadership ability and supporting them as they gain experience and build their own practical wisdom.
Our Lower School gym was transformed into the 4th Grade Science Fair where our budding scientists presented their research and findings on experiments ranging from how water temperature affects plant growth to how cars move on different surfaces. Kol hakavod to the 4th graders! #ScienceRocks
Congrats to the CodeRunners for a great showing at yesterday's FTC NJ State Championship robotics tournament. The team placed 16th in their division. Their next competition is RoboCup Junior soccer on May 19, 2019 in NYC.
Our high school delegation participated in the Jewish Canadian Youth Model United Nations Conference in Montreal from March 3-5, 2019 with Jewish day schools from the U.S., Canada and Brazil. During the three-day conference, students explored challenging world issues while developing debating, public speaking and analytical thinking skills.
